NORTH MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) – The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has ordered North Miami-Dade Medical Center to stop performing mammograms and notify patients.

According to the Miami Herald, North Shore Hospital performed inaccurate mammograms over a two-year period.

According to reports, the FDA review found that the images did not meet standards.

Patients who had a screening mammogram between March 14, 2022 and March 14, 2024 should be retested.
