Wimbledon star’s coach caught picking nose and making bogey live on air | Tennis | Sport

Madison Keys’ coach and fiancé Bjorn Fratangelo was caught picking his nose and throwing out scores on live TV while watching the American during her Wimbledon match with Jasmine Paolini.

Keys was forced to retire while serving for the match after suffering an unfortunate injury in the closing minutes of her fourth-round clash against the world number seven.

She left court in tears on a hugely disappointing day, which was only made worse for Keys and Fratangelo when they were informed that he had been spotted by ESPN cameras while compromised.

In the second set, Keys was looking to break Paolini and was leading 30-0 when the camera panned to her cheering team and Fratangelo, who cheered her on but then began to sniff the contents of her nostril.

The media coverage stuck with the former top-100 player longer than he would have liked, as he began picking his nose and commentators pleaded for a different photo elsewhere.

“She’s had a lot of coaches over the years, but something just clicked between the two of them,” Rennae Stubbs told the radio station. “Not to mention they’re renovating a house and they’re planning a wedding. So they’re a solid couple.”

Then, when Fratangelo started picking his nose, she added, “I think when the information comes to him, he’s… I’m glad he didn’t do what we thought… move the camera away from him while he was picking his nose! I think when the information comes to her from him, she doesn’t take it personally.”
