Ekaterina Zaharieva: GERB proposed a strong cabinet ᐉ Fakti.bg News – Bulgaria

“We have proposed a strong government,” Ekaterina Zaharieva told BTV. According to her, Delyan Peevski has no influence within GERB.

She doubts the willingness of the PP-DB and other parties to form a cabinet. Currently, each of the parties is trying not to be held responsible for the new elections, according to the MP. At the moment, everyone is calculating the electoral damage, Zaharieva is convinced.

She wonders how the government will implement its ideas without political support. “We have a duty to present a government to the Bulgarian citizens,” Zaharieva also said. She added that every expert must have political experience in order to implement ideas, no matter how good they are.

Zaharieva does not understand what is meant by the term “technical cabinet”, designating the interim government as such a cabinet.

For me, the DPS is the DPS, this is how she answered the question whether there is a difference between the DPS with and without Delyan Peevski. According to her, politicians should start talking about politics. She expects an even lower voter turnout.

Despite the differences, PP-DB was the easiest partner for GERB. GERB voters did not like PP-DB. However, according to Zaharieva, the party’s mindset is rather not to negotiate with PP-DB.
