Caitlin Clark’s ,450 outfit from a billion luxury brand drew attention at a historic triple-double party

Caitlin Clark’s rookie season continues to set new benchmarks. In her quest to cement all the hype, the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer reached another astonishing milestone in the Indiana Fever’s 83-78 victory over last year’s WNBA runner-up, the New York Liberty. However, before becoming the first rookie in WNBA history to record a triple-double, the 6-foot-1 guard managed to headline the tunnel walk at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

What do iconic global brands like Prada, Gucci, and Fendi have in common? Well, all of them had the opportunity to be a part of the pre-game outfit of one of the greatest college players of all time, Caitlin Clark. And once again, she decided to dress for the occasion. To be more specific, a $3,800 Gucci GG wool jacquard jacket with a subtle monogram was the eye-catching outfit of the evening. It was paired with $1,650 GG wool jacquard pants in the same Camel shade.

On top of that, before she could step out on the hardwood in a white Kobe 5 Protro Bruce Lee, she stepped out in a black patent leather Stuart 100 slingback pump. These heels retail for around $475. Apparently, she owns 4 pairs of Stuart 100 slingback pumps, all in different colors. After that, there was no stopping her as the packed arena witnessed a monumental feat unfold before their eyes.

On Saturday, Caitlin Clark finally recorded the first triple-double by a WNBA rookie. In helping the Fever end their nine-game winless streak against the Liberty, Clark had 19 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds in 38 minutes of action. She also shot 7-of-17 from the field and made 3-of-12 from beyond the arc, all in the first quarter.

The historic moment came in the penultimate quarter with 7:07 left on his 10th rebound, and was made even more memorable by a standing ovation from the 17,274 fans at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. “Obviously, it’s really cool.” Clark reflected on his achievement after the match. “My teammates finished the ball very well. My assists figures are thanks to them.” The performance also makes Clark the youngest and first player to reach such heights in franchise history.

The rookie season just keeps getting better for the former Iowa star. Plus, last night’s performance solidified her case for the WNBA Rookie of the Year award. How will that trajectory play out for her in the days to come? Only time will tell.
