PennDOT Announces Lane Restrictions on I-81

LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that crews will be making repairs on Interstate 81 in Luzerne County on Sunday.

On Sunday, PennDOT announced that lane restrictions would be in place on Interstate 81 southbound at mile marker 144.8, Hazleton/West Hazleton, for bridge deck repairs from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

PennDOT urges drivers to obey the posted speed limit, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, use their headlights and avoid distractions.
