MotoGP, Sachsenring, Championship: Jorge Martin gave an unexpected wedding gift to Pecco Bagnaia

Jorge Martin gave Pecco Bagnaia an unexpected surprise two laps from the end of the German Grand Prix, the ninth round of the 2024 MotoGP, at the Sachsenring. The crash allowed Bagnaia to regain first place in the championship, before going on holiday, a summer break synonymous with a honeymoon since the Ducati boss will get married on July 20.

Luca Marini (Honda Repsol) missed out on his first world championship point, finishing sixteenth, just 0.037s behind Nakagami. Behind Marini,
Johann Zarco (Honda LCR),
Stephane Bradl (Honda HRC tester),
Joan, I am (Honda Repsol) and Remy Gardner (replacing the injured Alex Rins on the Yamaha) closed the ranking. Fabio di Giannantonio
(Ducati VR46 Racing Team) had to retire due to a rear tire puncture.
