10 Million Peso Reward Offered for Arrest of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy

MANILA, Philippines — A P10-million reward awaits anyone who comes forward with credible information that leads to the arrest of fugitive televangelist Apollo Quiboloy, according to Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr.

In a press conference on Monday, Abalos also announced a reward of P1 million for the arrest of Quiboloy’s subordinates, Cresente Canada, Paulene Canada, Ingrid Canada, Sylvia Camanes and Jackiely Roy.

“Many people are eager to go to Kanila and offer a reward of PHP10 million for information leading to the arrest of Pastor Quiboloy and PHP1 million for the others,” the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) chief said.

(We have friends who want to help find them and have offered a reward of 10 million pesos for information leading to the arrest of Pastor Quiboloy and 1 million pesos for the others.)

On April 3, a regional court in Davao issued arrest warrants against Quiboloy and his subordinates Cresente Canada, Paulene Canada, Ingrid Canada, Sylvia Camanes and Jackiely Roy.

They are accused of violating Republic Act 7610, or the Anti-Child Abuse Act, particularly the provision on child sexual abuse and maltreatment.

On April 11, a Pasig city court also issued an arrest warrant for the self-proclaimed “son of God” on a non-bailable charge of human trafficking.
