Meet Diddy’s 7 Kids and Their Moms

  • Sean “Diddy” Combs is a father of seven children.

  • The family includes Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, Jessie James, D’Lila Star and Love Sean.

  • Diddy created Combs Cartel as an umbrella company for his children’s joint ventures.

Sean “Diddy” Combs has long credited fatherhood with teaching him “patience” and “grace.”

The rapper and entrepreneur has seven children, whom he raises with Misa Hylton, Sarah Chapman and Dana Tran. His ex-girlfriend Kim Porter died in 2018 from lobar pneumonia.

“I was fortunate to be raised and mentored by the mothers of my children,” Combs told Teen Vogue the following year. “I realized that through a lot of prayer and asking for prayers and guidance, it took a village to surround us with that love and care.”

Quincy was born to Porter and Albert Joseph Brown III (aka producer Al B. Sure!) in 1991. He is the namesake of music legend Quincy Jones, who was his father’s mentor.

Porter and Combs began their long on-and-off relationship in 1994. Combs adopted Porter’s son when Quincy was still a toddler.

In 2018, Quincy published an open letter to GlobalGrind.com, in which he spoke about his adoptive father.

“Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, has always been a father figure in my life,” he wrote. “He’s the one who helped shape me into the person I am today and I’ll always try to live up to his expectations.”

Quincy is currently working as a singer, songwriter and actor in Starz’s “Power Book III: Raising Kanan.” He previously starred in the hit FOX musical “Star.”

Combs dated Hylton, an accomplished stylist and fashion designer, in the early ’90s. She gave birth to their son Justin in 1993.

The couple appeared in the music video for “Big Poppa” by The Notorious B.I.G., who was a close friend of Combs before his death. Justin also appeared in the music video for “Juicy,” Biggie’s 1994 single.

Today, Justin is busy creating his own work for Revolt TV, the network his father co-founded in 2013, as executive producer of the popular interview series “Respectfully, Justin.”

Combs and Kim Porter welcomed Christian Combs in 1994.

Christian continues his family’s musical legacy by performing under the name King Combs.

His 2022 single “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” shares the same title as a 1998 hit by The LOX featuring Christian’s father (who was called Puff Daddy at the time).

He also joined Combs onstage at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. The father-son duo teamed up for performances of “Bad Boy for Life” and “Mo Money Mo Problems.” They then dedicated their performance to Porter.

Sarah Chapman gave birth to Chance Combs in 2006.

Sarah Chapman was close friends with Combs when she welcomed their daughter Chance in 2006. At the time, Combs was still dating Porter, who was also pregnant.

As an adult, Chance has pursued a career in fashion. She recently starred in a “Clueless”-inspired campaign for Glam-Aholic Lifestyle, a Black-owned luxury handbag brand, alongside her twin sisters D’Lila Star and Jessie.

Porter also gave birth to twin girls, D’Lila Star Combs and Jessie James Combs, in 2006.

Porter and Combs appeared together on the cover of Essence magazine during the young woman’s pregnancy, with her twins. D’Lila Star and Jessie James were born five months after their older sister Chance.

Both girls have followed in their mother’s glamorous footsteps. Alongside Chance, they walked in the 2021 Dolce & Gabbana show and aspire to become full-time models.

They also joined their dad on stage at the 2023 VMAs, dancing during his performance of “I’ll Be Missing You.”

“I am so happy to welcome my baby girl, Love Sean Combs, into the world,” Combs announced on X (formerly Twitter) on December 10, 2022.

He added that his family members were delighted with the arrival of their new member.

“Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D’Lila, Jessie and I love you all so much! God is the greatest,” he wrote.

Although Combs did not specify the identity of Love Sean’s mother, TMZ reported that her name is Dana Tran, a cybersecurity professional.
