Gannett Announces Elite All-Stars for 2024 Spring Season in Division 4

Nearly 100 Section 4 student-athletes were selected to our eight Elite All-Star teams for the recently concluded high school spring season.

There are actually 100 selections, with two athletes recognized on two elite teams through dual participation in girls flag football, which for the first time is part of our elite teams following the inaugural New York State Public High School Athletic Association Championship tournament in the third-grade sport.

Selections were also made for softball, baseball, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, boys track and field, girls track and field and boys golf.

Separate top athletes were selected for each sport for the Greater Binghamton area and the Elmira/Corning/Ithaca area.

The elite selections were chosen primarily based on coaches’ votes, with some input from newspaper sports departments. Not all coaches contacted participated in the voting process.
