Resident Evil meets Silent Hill free download on Steam

Fans of Resident Evil and Silent Hill or just fans of fear in general should keep an eye out for this upcoming action-horror title that puts a modern twist on the classic horror genre.

Developed by Dragon Level and inspired by classics such as Resident Evil, Silent Hill and Alone in the dark, Connection: The Inner Nightmare is an upcoming horror title in which players “explore atmospheric levels, fight monsters, and solve puzzles.”

With the option to choose between the classic fixed or shoulder camera, The Inner Nightmare has all the classic hallmarks of OG horror titles as players experience a story filled with twists and turns.

As a detective, you will have to solve the craziest case of your career by “diving headfirst into a world of horror and intrigue, entering the twisted mind of the antagonist using cutting-edge mind-space technology to gather clues and solve puzzles.”

When you’re not fighting zombie-like creatures and fearsome bosses, you’ll need to collect clues, solve complex puzzles, and develop a unique fighting style if you want to not only survive, but also solve the case.

For players who prefer the old-school horror vibe, they can choose the fixed camera for that Resident Evil vibe. However, if you want to focus more on the action without being restricted, the over-the-shoulder camera mode is also an option.

Although Connection: The Inner Nightmare has yet to receive an official release date, the survival horror title is now available to try for free through a demo on Steam.

Fortunately, Dragon Level has announced that it is “very close to finishing the game” and recently reached a major milestone by making the game’s cutscenes look better than ever.
