Heat relief offered in Quinte West

In response to the heat forecast for this week, the Quinte West Cooling Centre at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Arena will be open daily from Monday July 8thuntil Sunday July 142024.

When: Monday July 8th – Sunday July 142024, every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Or: Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens, 8 Couch Cres., Trenton, Ontario

The City of Quinte West activates a cooling centre at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Arena in Trenton when there are two consecutive days of temperatures of 31 degrees or higher or humid conditions of 35 degrees Celsius or higher.

Water playgrounds are also open daily from 9am to 9pm in Trenton and Frankford.
