The Real Housewives‘ Bethenny Frankel talks about her breakup with her fiancé Paul Bernon.

Earlier this year it was reported that Bethenny and her partner of six years had ended their relationship. Now, Bethenny talks about everything for the first time on his podcast, including his ex’s relationship with Aurora Culpo.

If you don’t know, Dawn spoke about the new relationship on his podcast “Barely Filtered,” which was recorded in June 2024.

“He’s still getting to know my kids,” Dawn “He met them twice, like on FaceTime and stuff,” he said at the time, indicating that they had met each other’s children.

In the Sunday (July 7) episode of BethennyOn Bethenny’s podcast, “Just B With Bethenny,” she said she “initiated” the breakup, but added that it “was definitely mutual.”

“To hear that her ex-fiancé got involved with another woman shortly after on their first date, and then to be in the thick of their relationship, hearing about their sexuality and gifts, meeting each other’s children and the level of commitment… It was heartbreaking. It was brutal.” Bethenny sharing.

“It’s embarrassing,” she continued, adding that it was difficult for her to be labeled an “old maid.”

“Being portrayed as the jilted ex who got promoted… that my ex left me with a younger woman… and that it regurgitated the ongoing narrative that he’s a very private person who’s now gotten serious with someone, when ironically I was the very private person,” Bethenny continued.

“I’m proud of myself and I’m proud of the way I handled (the separation),” Bethenny said, before implying that Dawn And Paul “I think this woman also learned a lot. Their actions cost them their relationship, which was brand new, and who knows what would have happened?”

She then had a message for Dawn and any woman who might find herself dating another woman’s ex.

She said to “think about the other woman in any situation… If you’re the new woman in a relationship, you have to take it slow and be mindful of who the woman was before you, because we’ve all been in both situations.”

“I think by sharing all the details of your new relationship you are disrespecting the last relationship,” she added.

She also shared a message on Olivia Culpo, DawnThe famous sister of.

She shared: “By the way, I sent a message to Olivia Culpo. I reached out to her before this whole media spectacle got out of hand, and she responded to me, which is sweet because she just got married, and she was really sweet and said she was a fan and she had all my books and she really admired me, and that was really sweet and it was actually a nice, warm blanket during this whole crazy thing. So maybe she’ll come on the podcast. Congratulations. Olivia. I hope you have a wonderful, wonderful life with your new husband.

Last year, Bethenny made a surprising revelation about his relationship with Paul.
