USA Lacrosse Announces 2024 Bob Scott Award Recipients

USA Lacrosse today announced the high school seniors selected as the 2024 Bob Scott Award recipients. Named in honor of the legendary coach and National Lacrosse Hall of Fame member, the awards recognize a senior male player from each region who goes “above and beyond” in service to his team, school and community.

These athletes, who truly honor the game of lacrosse, are invested in the development of the game in their city and are exemplary teammates. In addition, they must be exceptional students with good academic standing and serve as role models within their school community.

The Bob Scott Award for boys and the corresponding Jackie Pitts Award for girls are part of USA Lacrosse’s high school recognition program, along with All-American and All-Academic honors for players, and the Coach of the Year award.

USA Lacrosse oversees the selection of high school awards, which are administered locally by zone leaders. Selections are based on voting by coaches in each geographic zone.
