One of the most iconic bands of the 90s took to the stage at the British Summertime Festival this weekend, marking the return of The Corrs, whose frontwoman looked as young as ever.

The band released their debut album, Forgiven, Not Forgotten in 1995. They rose to fame with their hit single “Runaway” from the same album, one of the most influential anthems of the decade.

Between 1995 and 2005, the Corrs released five albums before taking a break from the industry.

The band, consisting of Irish siblings Andrea, Caroline, Sharon and Jim Corr, released a sixth album, White Light, in 2015 before returning to the stage in 2017 and releasing another album the same year.

The band made another comeback last week, ahead of their upcoming UK and Ireland tour in November.

Appearing at the British Summertime Festival in Hyde Park as a ‘special guest’ of headliner Shania Twain, singer Andrea, 50, led her siblings in a rendition of hits So Young, Radio, Breathless and What Can I Do.

The band announced that they would be playing BST Hyde Park on Sunday, in a series of posts on their Instagram account. Fans were quick to comment on how kind the weather had been to their favourite artists.

“Amazing then, amazing now! Timeless!” exclaims elgoliath_artist.

“Is she a vampire? How come she’s always EXACTLY THE SAME,” _cleo_black said.

“Hello Andrea, I love your outfit, you look like a teenager,” feselada wrote.

“These ladies have aged beautifully, they are still as stunning as ever,” missellieoc agreed.

The star paired black Dr Marten boots with a tube dress and red floral bib, keeping with her jet black hair and preference for darker clothing.

Meanwhile, her sister Sharon, 54, wore a silver dress with a black belt as she played her iconic violin for the crowd.

While Caroline, 51, tackled the drums in a red top, Jim, 59, played lead guitar, wearing sunglasses and a dark jacket.

As the band played to a crowd of 65,000, it seemed like no time had passed since their heyday in the ’90s.

It seems like time continues to stand still as the band have announced they will be headlining London’s O2 as part of their UK and Ireland tour.

Kicking off in November, the tour, titled Talk On Corners, will stop in Belfast, Manchester, Glasgow and Newcastle, before culminating at London’s O2.

The band will be supported by BST member and 90s icon Natalie Imbruglia. Tickets for the event will be available at LiveNation.co.uk.

The band hit the headlines last week after Sharon was grounded from a RyanAir flight while trying to travel with her violin.

In her Instagram story, Andrea described how she was “humiliated” by the company after being kicked off a flight from Madrid, Spain, where she lives with her two teenage children.

“Today I had booked a @ryanair flight. I woke up at 6am. I wasn’t allowed to board the plane because I had my violin. I was at the airport for 7 hours,” she wrote in a post on her social media account.

She continued: “I had to go home after searching for my checked luggage. Humiliated, angry, then crying like only a good woman can.

“Why was I going to Dublin? Home, to rehearse, to go on tour! I’m more than disappointed.”

She then named and shamed the airline’s CEO, signing off: “Michael O’Leary, shame on you.”
