Want to dance in the streets of York like it’s 1989? You’ll soon be able to thanks to a Taylor Swift-themed event.

Taylor Swift Silent Disco Tour in York is set to take place on Saturday September 21.

This hour-long event will see Swifties dancing to some of their most iconic hits while taking in all the city’s sights.

After meeting at Spark York, Piccadilly, at 1pm, the carefully curated city tour will begin. Each participant will receive a pair of wireless headphones, with Taylor Swift’s curated playlist playing so everyone can party.

On the York walking tour, participants will be encouraged to relax, dance and sing like no one is watching!

The Silent Disco tour is run by Silent Sights, a York-based company that creates tours to explore the city in a unique way. They offer tours for all occasions including hen parties, stag parties, birthdays and team building days.
