Stallion Springs residents advised to stop using water immediately

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Stallion Springs residents are being advised to stop using water immediately after a water main break busted Monday morning.

Stallion Springs Community Services officials are urging residents and visitors to stop using running water immediately after a routine weekly test results revealed the water was not safe to drink.

Officials said crews are at the scene assessing the main break and did not give an estimate of when the problem will be fixed.

Monday’s advisory is the latest in a series of contaminated water and well shut down’s around Kern amid the oppressive heat wave.
