Erie Zoo Announces Date, Tickets on Sale for Felines and Wines 2024

(WJET/WFXP) – The Erie Zoo announced that tickets are now on sale for one of their fundraisers aimed at providing a big service to even bigger cats.

The zoo announced that people can now register online for Felines and Wines 2024, which will take place on Friday, August 9, with tickets costing $45 for zoo members, $50 for non-zoo members and $25 for designated handlers.

In addition to knowing they are supporting their local zoo, visitors can also enjoy meals from local food trucks, sample drinks from local wineries and distilleries accompanied by live music and caurosel, which the zoo says is not just for kids!

Participants will be able to taste drinks from the following:

• Modified State Distillery
• Arundel Cellars and Brewery
• Driftwood wine cellars
• Ironstone Honey Brewery
• Jade Vineyard
• KingView Mead, Wine & Cider
• Luminary Distillery
• Mazza Wines

Vendors from Brady’s Chuckwagon, Tater Tater and Buona Cucina Oils & More will also be on hand to serve up local products to sample while listening to live music from Brooke Surgener.

In preparation for the event, the Erie Zoo announced that it would close at 3 p.m. on the day of the event and would be open rain or shine. Tickets are limited and you can reserve yours on the zoo’s website website here.
