On Sunday around noon, police officers went to a retail business on Premier Boulevard following reports of a woman causing a disturbance in front of a business. She was inside the business and wearing a bra and shorts.

Officers determined the woman, who had walked away and gotten into a parked vehicle, was likely intoxicated and followed her for a welfare check.

Further investigation was conducted and officers met with Trevan Lacale Parker, 36, of Conway, the registered owner of the vehicle.

Officer Morris observed several pill bottles scattered throughout the vehicle and once Parker opened the driver’s door, he saw another bottle in the door pocket.

Asked about the contents of the bottle, Parker told Morris it was his medicine.

The bottle contained a folded piece of aluminum foil and a cut plastic straw containing a white powdery substance that turned out to be fentanyl.

No other drugs were found.

Parker was charged with possession of a Class II narcotic and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a $6,000 bond and a July 25 district court appearance date.

The woman was released without charge and the rest of her clothes were in the vehicle.
