Applications are open for the Michigan Mobility Fellow Program, an initiative to support recruitment and retention by offering an annual salary of $60,000 and professional development opportunities.

The 15-month program, which begins in October and runs through December 2025, is aimed at people across the country and will offer two tracks that address mobility barriers to improve lives.

“OFME is excited to launch a new fellowship program to attract and retain the best and brightest future leaders looking to gain meaningful experience in transportation planning and mobility innovation,” said Hustine Johnson, chief mobility officer in the state’s Office of Future Mobility and Electrification. “Alongside our partners, this program is a commitment to growing our mobility ecosystem by investing in our future workforce and prioritizing the evolution of the mobility sector.”
