Details: Real Madrid target Leny Yoro’s message to Manchester United

LOSC Lille star Leny Yoro’s continued commitment to securing a move to Real Madrid this summer was reiterated on Monday.

It comes amid growing confirmation that Real are closing in on a deal to bring the defender to the Spanish capital.

According to a report by Brand:

“The dialogue between the leaders of the white club and those of Lille has intensified and there is optimism about finding an agreement.”

Especially since the Ligue 1 club finally agreed to reduce its demands, to a sum of around 40 million euros, plus bonuses.

Yoro, for his part, has long made clear his desire to join Carlo Ancelotti’s star-studded squad, with recent approaches from Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea firmly rebuffed by the goalkeeper.

And a similar message was also reportedly sent to Manchester United last week.

As explained by José Félix Díaz of Marca, after receiving the news of the Red Devils’ renewed interest, Yoro informed his representatives to pass on the following simple response to the Old Trafford directors:

“I’m sorry, but I want to play for Real Madrid.”
