Russell Wilson Celebrates 8th Wedding Anniversary With Heartfelt Message to Ciara

Russell Wilson is celebrating his 8th wedding anniversary with Ciara, sharing a sweet compilation of special moments together.

Over the weekend, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback took to Instagram to share a clip-filled post featuring the “Goodies” singer and their kids: Amora, 6 months, Win, 4, Sienna, 7, and Future Zahir, 10. The video montage also included highlights from their red carpet appearances and their 2016 wedding, along with a heartfelt message to his leading lady.

“Celebrating 8 years of God’s love and grace upon us @Ciara!” Wilson began. “Since we met, you have been my strength in every trial. My joy in every moment. My peace in every prayer. God has blessed me with the most incredible gift in you!”

“I am so grateful for our journey together,” Wilson continued. “I wish you even more life. I love you, Mrs. Wilson, to heaven and back! ❤️.”

Ciara wrote on her own Instagram account of the couple’s seemingly perfect union: “I love walking with you, talking with you, holding you, and doing everything with you! I am the happiest girl because of the love you inspire in me! I am so grateful for our love! 8 years! So proud of us! Yay! Happy anniversary my love! @DangeRussWilson. I love you so much!”

Ciara and Russell Wilson’s romance began with a meeting in March 2015, followed by a big reveal a month later. Russell popped the question on March 11, 2016, and they secretly tied the knot at a castle in England on July 6, 2016.

On the musical front, Ciara recently embarked on the Out of This World Tour alongside longtime friends and collaborators Missy Elliott (headlining), Busta Rhymes and Timbaland.

The 24-city tour, which kicked off in Vancouver on July 4, will stop in cities including Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, New York and Toronto before wrapping up on August 22 in Rosemont, Illinois.
