NEW DELHI: Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav is currently in the spotlight. He is meeting dignitaries, giving interviews and receiving praise from all quarters after lifting the prestigious ICC T20 World Cup 2024 title in the Americas. India triumphed over South Africa by 7 runs in a thrilling final at the Kingston Oval in Barbados on June 29, lifting an ICC trophy for the first time in 11 years. The last time India tasted success at an ICC event was in 2013.


In a recent interview, Kuldeep hinted that fans who were eagerly waiting for the wedding will soon be in for some joyous news, suggesting that a joyous announcement will be made soon. However, he clarified that he will not marry a Bollywood actress.

“You will get the good news soon, but it will not be an actress. It is important that she can take care of me and my family,” Kuldeep Yadav told NDTV.

Kuldeep recently met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence in Lucknow on Monday.

In a Hindi message on X, CM Adityanath said, “Today a courtesy meeting was held with Kuldeep Yadav, a member of the T20 World Cup winning Indian cricket team.”


In the T20 World Cup, Kuldeep played five matches and took 10 wickets.
