Please note that day visitors will be required to exit the pool and re-enter upon payment for this event. Season passes and coupons cannot be used for the Night Swim. Let’s get ready to swim under the stars in style!

SENSORY SWIMMING

The Branson Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with Shay & Pals and KultureCity, will host a Sensory Swim on Monday, July 15 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Branson AquaPlex, located at 1501 Branson Hills Pkwy. Sensory Swims are offered to individuals with sensory processing disorders and different abilities to allow them to enjoy the AquaPlex without the crowds and noise typical of a public pool.

This sensory swim session has many features designed for those with sensory processing disorders. Music and water features will be turned off to reduce noise levels, lifeguards will not use loud whistles, and the number of participants is limited to provide a safe and calm environment for participants. The water slides and playground will only be offered during the last hour of the event to allow plenty of time for participants who appreciate the reduced noise levels and those who enjoy the more interactive features of the AquaPlex.

The event is free, but pre-registration is required due to capacity limits. A parent or guardian must be present with each participant to provide a safe and fun experience for all swimmers.
