Rowan Chamber of Commerce Announces 2024 President-Elect

SALISBURY — The Rowan Chamber of Commerce announced earlier this week that F&M Bank President and CEO Steve Fisher will serve as president-elect in 2024 and chairman of the board in 2025.

He follows the Chairman of the Board of Directors 2024Terry Osborne, who is the executive director of the Rowan-Kannapolis ABC board of directors.

Fisher will serve as president wild board for the Rowan Chamber’s 100th Anniversary Celebration. The Rowan Chamber was incorporated in February 1925 and plans to recognize long-term businesses throughout 2025. The celebration will begin with the 99th Annual Meeting in January 2025 and continue through the 100th Annual Meeting in January 2026.

“We are very grateful to Steve Fisher for taking the helm of the Chamber during the next historic year for our business advocacy organization,” Osborne said.

99th Annual Meeting of the Chamber is planned for January 23, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the West End Plazalocated at 1935 Jake Alexander Blvd. W., Salisbury. The annual awards and gavel handover ceremony will also take place to be carried out SO.
