Sexyy Red Refutes Claims of Tour Cancellation Due to Low Sales

“My fans are buying tickets, we’re doing great,” Sexxy Red said on X (formerly Twitter).

Sexyy Red clarifies the truth about her upcoming tour sales.

The 26-year-old “Get It Sexyy” rapper quickly shot down rumors that she would have to cancel her recently announced tour due to a Touring Data report suggesting low ticket sales.

“My fans are buying tickets, we are doing great,” she wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, July 8, in response to another page speculating that her tour was “on the verge” of being canceled.

“We’re not cancelling any tours,” the “Pound Town” artist added, “we’re cancelling everything in capital letters.”

As of July 3, Touring Data reported that 37.11% of tickets for Sexyy Red 4 President’s 24-date tour had been sold, with 85,217 tickets still available. Despite this, the St. Louis native refuted claims that these numbers indicate she will cancel her tour.

“That’s what they try to do when you go with an independent promoter and the bigger companies try to sabotage you,” Sexyy explained in another X-rated post, referring to her tour promoter, AG Entertainment, “we don’t cancel anything.”

The rap star concluded his posts by accusing social media pages of “spreading fake news” about his tour, saying: “I signed my tour contract with a black promoter, the black-owned company AG Entertainment, and now I’m playing dirty, paid pages that are spreading fake news to discourage my fans from buying tickets.”

On June 25, Sexyy announced her North American headlining tour, which will feature special guests Hunxho, Loe Shimmy, and St. Louis rapper and collaborator BlakeIANA.
