Andrew Carr stars in Meet the Wildcats

The Kentucky Wildcats have a new roster full of players for the 2024-25 season. With a revamped SEC, the Cats have gone from a roster full of young freshmen to one filled with experienced transfers.

One of those players is Wake Forest transfer forward Andrew Carr.

The entire BBN has heard the story of Mark Pope’s recruitment as he drove to Nashville to pick up his family for their visit to Lexington in the middle of the night. It was long thought he would head to Villanova, but the talented fourth-stringer ended up committing to the Cats.

He is now the latest player to be featured in UK Sports Network’s Meet the Cats series.

Carr is poised to become one of the most important pieces of the roster next season as his game fits perfectly with coach Pope’s style of play in Lexington.

There’s still plenty of time before the Big Blue Madness season begins, but these videos and practice highlights have me excited for the upcoming season.
