Gunmen involved in triple shooting that injured three Philadelphia children caught on camera

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA — The Philadelphia Police Department and its Shooting Investigations Unit are seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in a recent incident involving three shootings. The incident occurred on July 11, at approximately 8:41 p.m., in the 1300 block of North 11th Street.

During the incident, the suspects fled the scene in a late-model white Jeep Grand Cherokee. The vehicle is described as having a sunroof, chrome mirrors and five-spoke alloy wheels. The suspects involved were masked and dressed in all-black clothing. Specific descriptions include one suspect on foot and another seated in the back, driver’s side of the Jeep. The driver’s description is unknown.

Three victims, ages 2, 15 and 17, were rushed to local hospitals. Fortunately, all three were in stable condition following the incident.

The Philadelphia Police Department is urging anyone with information about the suspects or the vehicle to come forward to assist in the investigation. The lack of known license plate information and the anonymity of the driver increase the need for public involvement to apprehend those responsible for this crime.
