MSP: Vehicle hit during traffic stop near Paw Paw

PAW PAW TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Troopers say an unoccupied patrol car was struck Friday afternoon during a traffic stop on I-94.

The incident happened on I-94 eastbound near Exit 56 in Paw Paw Township, according to Michigan State Police.

No injuries have been reported, the MSP said, and all roads are open.

The police asked drivers to slow down.

“Everyone drive carefully, follow all traffic rules and have a nice and safe weekend!” they wrote in a social media post.
