Day 284 of the Israel-Hamas War: Hamas and Fatah Prepare to Meet in Beijing

Agam Goldstein Almog, a survivor of Hamas captivity, made an emotional appeal for the release of those still held by Hamas on Monday during a screening of the film Screams before silencecreated by Sheryl Sandberg.

Reflecting on his captivity, Goldstein Almog said in the hostage square in Tel Aviv: “We looked each other in the eye and you asked me: ‘Say everything so that (Hamas) does not touch us anymore.’ I cannot bear to miss an agreement (on the hostages).”
