All the continuity and editing errors fans have spotted in ‘The Bear’ season 3

The bear surprised fans with the number of potential continuity errors – and editing mistakes – that made it into the final cut of Season 3.

The hit series, which premiered in June 2022, featured Chef Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) while trying to run after his brother Mikey (Jon Bernthal) in Chicago. The first season ended with Carmy closing the sandwich shop so he could open a more upscale restaurant called The Bear. Season 2 focused on the employees rushing to get The Bear up and running, while the third installment focused on the successes—and failures—that came with trying to keep the new business afloat.

Season 3 received mixed reactions from critics and fans alike. However, viewers proved how focused they were on the content when several continuity errors were reported after the episodes began airing on Hulu in June 2024. Fans were left with questions about the character backstory details they felt the show backtracked on and more.

Ahead of the airing of Season 3, rumors surfaced that FX would quietly renew The bear for more episodes. Several media outlets have claimed that the series filmed seasons 3 and 4 at the same time due to the busy schedules of cast members such as White, Ayo Edebiri And Ebony Moss-Bachrach.

Matty Matheson, who plays Fak, admitted that it was difficult to remember which scenes he could be talking about since there was footage that fans wouldn’t see yet when season 3 began airing.

“You can’t talk about a lot of things. But I kind of forget everything, which is perfect because I’m like, ‘I don’t even know,'” he joked in an interview with Variety that same month. “I actually haven’t even watched the season. I’ve seen a few drafts and a few early episodes, but I’ve only seen episodes 1 through 4, really.”

The actor had also previously spoken about the leaks that took place. “It’s one of those things where we’re in public sometimes and I think it’s a little annoying,” he said. We in March. “But we’re in a city that we love and people pass by. And they pass by as soon as we’re outside.”

Matheson continued: “I think maybe we could be a little more secretive. Maybe not hang out together. But we’re all such good friends that it seems cool, to be honest.”
