Clint Eastwood's daughters are taking potshots at each other on social media – and he's caught in the middle

Keeping the peace in a large family is never easy. And actor Clint Eastwood finds this out the hard way after one of his daughters launches a vicious rant against the family for the world to see.

Clint, who has eight adult children, found himself caught in the crossfire after his daughter Kathryn, 36, took to social media to attack her younger sister Morgan, then former stepmother Dina.

“Evil Stepsister”

The bitter feud reportedly erupted after Morgan’s recent wedding at her father’s California ranch. And it was made public when a furious Kathryn denounced her “mean stepsister”.

Kathryn posted a smiling photo of herself and Morgan, writing: “I had to break up with my sister Morgan after she got married because she is so concerned about her reputation that she called me ‘crazy’ online for the whole world to hear.”

Oddly enough, the outbursts came just weeks after Kathryn announced her little sister’s pregnancy. And a source claims their famous dad, 94, can’t stand the arguments at such a crucial time for the family.

“Clint ended the drama with one phone call, threatening to cut them off if they didn’t make peace,” says a source close to the feud.

“His grandchild is not yet born. And he doesn’t care about the who, the what or the why – his unborn grandchild is the family’s priority right now.”

Kathryn didn’t hold back from making scathing comments, writing in another post about Morgan, 27, that she was a “shallow, superficial woman” with “no compassion for others.”

IN SEARCH OF FAMILY

Kathryn then took a dig at her six other siblings and former stepmother Dina, sharing an old photo of most of them with their dad Clint along with the caption: “My siblings are weird and wrong, inside and out.”

She made another reference to her family being “fake” when she insisted they deserved an Oscar for their “performance” at Morgan’s wedding.

According to a source familiar with the matter, Clint has been working behind the scenes to find a quick resolution to any resentment. “He doesn’t get caught up in family feuds and does everything he can to keep the peace within his families,” the source said.

Morgan’s mother, Dina, who was married to Clint for 18 years until 2014, also tried to end the war of words, even threatening legal action against Kathryn if she didn’t remove the hurtful messages.

Kathryn, who is the younger sister of movie star Scott, didn’t hold back, sharing Dina’s posts on her Instagram page.

The source adds: “This whole episode was shocking for Clint and the rest of the family who were caught off guard.

“They have a code that prohibits them from sharing private messages and here they really crossed the line.”
