Bradley Walsh makes huge pricing blunder in Chase

Chase fans were quick to spot a mistake Bradley Walsh made in the latest episode.

Bradley, 63, welcomed four new players to the ITV studio on Monday: Jennifer, Martin, Megan and Adam, who were taking on one of the UK’s greatest minds. Although they had never met before, they were working as a team to take on Anne Hegerty, also known as The Governess.

Jennifer was the first to answer five questions on her cash flow questionnaire, and accepted the mid-range offer for a potential £5,000. Unfortunately, she got caught and went home empty-handed.

Martin was next, also answering five questions correctly to start. He joined the team with £5,000.

In third place, Megan managed to get just one correct answer in her cash-builder game. The housekeeper gave her the choice of playing for £500, £1,000 or £4,000, and Megan accepted the lowest offer.

And when it came time to face the Chaser, host Bradley mistakenly offered her more money. He said: “The correct answer to play with five thousand dollars is…”, while Megan only played for £500.

Fans watching at home noticed her mistake and took to X, formerly Twitter, to comment. Angie said, “$5,000 Brad???”

Bas said, “Not nearly five thousand dollars after the low bid!” Tom said, “Not quite five thousand dollars.”

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and ITVX
