A conference to reflect on the future of mission-driven healthcare
The conference will bring together CEOs and senior leaders from Catholic Health Australia (CHA) members.

Artificial intelligence expert Joel Pearson, motivational speaker and London bombing survivor Gill Hicks and health economist Stephen Duckett will speak at Catholic Health Australia’s annual conference next month.

Department of Health and Aged Care Secretary Blair Comley and NSW Deputy Premier Prue Car are also among the speakers at the conference, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Sydney from August 26 to 28.

The theme of the conference is “Rejoice, Reimagine – where we rejoice in our journey and reimagine the future of mission-driven healthcare and senior care.”

Professor Pearson, a leading neuroscientist, psychologist and author, will provide his perspective on the AI ​​revolution and its implications for healthcare, offering valuable insights into the future of medical technology and patient care.

Dr. Duckett, a distinguished economist and author, will bring his extensive knowledge of health policy and economics to the conference.

The conference brings together CEOs and senior leaders from members of Catholic Health Australia, Australia’s largest non-government group of health and aged care providers.

The conference will also include a series of workshops focused on critical health, seniors care and mission issues, including seniors care financing reforms, home care and digital innovation.
