Pokémon Go’s ‘Rarest Hundo’ Caught by Go Fest Player

As the dust settles on Pokemon Go Fest Global 2024 – just like it did during The Dusk Settles special – many content creators are sharing their exciting stories from the weekend. It seems like some people were much luckier than others.

It’s hard enough to find a Pokémon with perfect IVs in Go, often colloquially referred to as a “hundo” in the community, but it’s even harder to get a Legendary with this rare stat combination. The maxed stats are incredible across the board, and these Pokémon are coveted for their combat potential, as well as being a simple collectible.

Among the many people sharing their exciting stories from the celebrations, YouTube content creator JT Valor posted a video detailing his weekend experience, titled “I Caught the Rarest Hundo During Pokemon GO Fest.”

While the “rarest” comment is up for debate, especially given the elusiveness of perfect IV versions of certain Pokémon like Zarude, Galarian Birds, and Shiny Celebi; the catch is still worthy of note.

Creator JT Valor Perfectly Lands IV Lunala in Pokémon Go

In the video, JT Balor is shown completing the Pokemon Go Fest Global 2024 Special Research called The Dusk Settles, which rewards players with a Necrozma Dusk Mane or Dawn Wings. However, they must first catch a Solgaleo or Lunala to fuse with Necrozma.

After choosing the Hidden in the Umbra path, JT Valor eventually encountered a Lunala and discovered that the Psychic- and Ghost-type legendary was a “hundo,” meaning it had perfect stats. However, this means it’s not ideal for fusion, as the Dawnwing Necrozma inherits the Necrozma’s stats.

Other Pokémon fans commented on the video to share their congratulations and their own Go Fest hauls, with one commenting, “That hundo lunala was an incredible win. My best catch of the weekend was a shiny ducklett.”

Some players have also shared their results from The Dust Settles Special Research, and very few have been as lucky. One comment added: “Congratulations on this amazing Lunala! I picked the Solgaleo and got a 10-10-10.”

Many other comments congratulate the creator, with one adding: “You got an incredible number of hundo! How does it feel to be good at the game?” Although some lucky players have bragged about their own winnings, such as one person’s gloating comment: “You may have gotten the hundo lunala, but I got the hundo marshadow!”
