TransRe Announces Key Promotions to Enhance Cybersecurity Underwriting and Services

To better support the underwriting of a growing business sector and enhance product and service offerings, TransRe, a global reinsurer, announced the promotion of Tina Kališnik to Global Portfolio Leader, Cyber, and Diana Liu to US Cyber ​​Underwriting Leader.

Tina Kališnik, who joined TransRe in 2016, has played a key role in developing the company’s European professional liability business and expanding its client base, with a focus on cyber exposures.

In her new role as Global Portfolio Manager, she will continue to manage relationships with local clients and brokers in cybersecurity and professional liability matters.

Tina is recognized for her technical expertise and collaborative approach. She works in TransRe’s Zurich office and holds a degree in Accounting and Auditing from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana.

Diana Liu began her career at TransRe in 2019 in the Actuarial department and joined the US Professional Liability underwriting team in 2022, focusing on cybersecurity.

She played a key role in integrating new cyber analytics and modeling capabilities into the underwriting process, in addition to her underwriting and marketing responsibilities.

Diana is based in TransRe’s New York office and is a member of the Casualty Actuarial Society and the American Academy of Actuaries.
