How The Young and the Restless Inspired Kennedy Garcia for Days of Our Lives

Recently, Garcia took to Instagram to share a video of her experience recreating photos and on-set Y&R themed photos, which you can see below. Alongside it, the actress wrote, “I’m a longtime fan of (The Young and the Restless)! Several years ago, I embarked on a matchmaking adventure with some of the ladies on the show. I picked a photo from their social media, then looked for a similar outfit and background and tried to recreate it. How do you think I did?

“Unfortunately I never finished and missed out on some of my favorites, BUT I was invited to perform by the amazing (Cait Fairbanks (Tessa)) and that’s when I knew I wanted to be a soap opera actress. Shout out to (Days of our lives) for making this dream come true! During her visit to Y&R, Garcia was able to sit in Crimson Lights, the Abbott Mansion, and the Genoa City Athletic Club. Plus, she took pictures with Fairbanks, Beth Maitland (Traci), Mishael Morgan (Amanda), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), Sharon Case (Sharon), Camryn Grimes (Mariah), and more. She even posed with the interesting drawing Sharon and Nick (Joshua Morrow) recently talked about.

Y&R’s Judah Mackey (Connor) replied: “This is so awesome!! #YR!! ❤️”
