Will Ali’s silence continue?

Comedian Ali and actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan, friends turned political rivals.

Ali has been friends with Pawan Kalyan for a long time, but he joined the YSRCP in a surprising move, distancing himself from Janasena leader Pawan Kalyan. During an election campaign speech in Rajahmundry, Pawan said that Ali was his good friend, but claimed that Ali had deserted the party and joined the YSRCP. Pawan also alleged that the YSRCP was using Ali.

Ali joined YSRCP in March even after being offered the Janasena Narasaraopet MLA ticket. After the election results, he released a video saying that he would focus only on cinema and stay away from politics.

Recently, when Ali attended press meets to promote his film, he made it clear to the media not to ask political questions or even inquire about his friendship with Pawan Kalyan.

How long can Ali keep quiet about Pawan Kalyan or the present government? It seems unlikely that Ali will be able to maintain this silence indefinitely. Sooner or later, he will have to answer questions from the media about the incidents that took place between him and the Janasena chief.
