Princess Kate shares message about ‘healing power of nature’

Princess Kate celebrates the healing power of nature with the opening of two new gardens at the Natural History Museum in London.

The Princess of Wales shared her thoughts on the new additions on her Instagram Stories on July 18. Kate, who is well-known for her love of nature, is the museum’s royal patron.

“I strongly support the Museum’s commitment to creating a special space that encourages people of all ages to reconnect with nature and learn more about how we can protect our natural world,” she wrote.

“I know the power of nature to support our development and well-being, both by bringing us joy and by helping us stay physically, mentally and spiritually healthy,” she continued. “I hope these gardens will be a source of inspiration and transformation for the thousands of people who visit them.”

Princess Kate shares symbolic portrait after cancer diagnosis

Princess Kate has long been a fan of forest bathing, which involves spending time in nature to soothe your five senses. She even inspired the concept for her first garden at the Chelsea Flower Show.

“I really think that nature and outdoor interaction has huge benefits on our physical and mental well-being,” she said in 2019, according to People.

In her first social media post after revealing her cancer diagnosis, Princess Kate also called on nature to heal with a symbolic portrait that showed her standing against a tree by a river while looking up at the sky.

“She is there in the nature that has strengthened her, and she looks up, a sign of real hope and encouragement for everyone,” said royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith. People.
