Bus driver filmed performing solo sex act on upper deck

A bus driver has been suspended after a video emerged showing him masturbating on the top deck of a London bus.

The alleged solo sex act took place in broad daylight in front of passers-by, one of whom filmed the scene.

In the clip, the bus driver is naked from the waist up and leaning between two seats on the upper deck of bus 123.

He appears to be enjoying himself by apparently watching pornography on his smartphone for about 90 seconds.

Transport for London said the driver had been suspended pending investigation.

A passer-by filmed the bus driver as the vehicle was parked in Buller Road, north London, where drivers stop at the start or end of a journey. The 123 bus route runs through north-east London from Wood Green to Ilford.

Mohamud Mohamud, 38, filmed the driver around 12pm on Saturday and then confronted him.

Mr Mohamud was standing outside his house smoking a cigarette with his brother Hazma, 26, when they noticed the bus driver on the upper deck.

“I was so shocked,” Mr Mohamud said. “I saw he was almost naked on the roof of the bus and I could see him swinging back and forth.

“At first I didn’t understand what he was doing, but when I realized it, I took out my phone to start recording.

“There must have been something on the seat in front of him, you could see his right hand reaching for something on the seat in front of him, so I think it was his cell phone and we think he was looking at porn.”

In the video, the driver can be seen pulling up his pants after a minute and a half.

Mr Mohamud said he filmed the act because the bus route is frequented by children. He added that an elderly woman also spotted the bus driver on the upper deck as she passed him.

Mr Mohamud then confronted the bus driver.

“When he pulled his pants up, I went around the corner and got his driver’s number,” he said.

“I confronted him and said, ‘What did you do upstairs?’

“He said he was searching the bus, but he realized I had a video, he tried to say he had a problem with his leg, but after a while he started begging me not to share the video.

“I told him what he was doing was absolutely disgusting, it was unbelievable. He just wanted people to see it, but I don’t know why.”
