Brazilian football star Neymar has announced the birth of his third child – a daughter named Helena.

The 32-year-old revealed the joyous news in an Instagram post on Friday, July 19, which included several heartwarming photos taken at the hospital.

He shared: “Helena (red heart and child emojis) 03/07/202.” Helena’s birth comes nearly nine months after Neymar welcomed another daughter, named Mavie, with his ex-partner Bruna Biancardi.

Among the slideshow of photos was a sweet shot of Neymar, better known as Neymar da Silva Santos Junior, lovingly gazing through a window at his newborn daughter alongside his 12-year-old son, Davi Lucca.

The proud dad also shared intimate close-ups of baby Helena and a heartwarming image of his big brother Davi tenderly watching over his little sister.

The newborn was also pictured in a babygro as he was held aloft, while another image showed Davi looking down at his little sister as he watched her sitting on a chair.

Neymar, who plays for Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal and the Brazil national team, welcomed his second daughter Helena with model Amanda Kimberlly, who also celebrated the birth of their baby girl in an Instagram post on Friday.

She celebrated the arrival of her newborn with a monochrome snapshot of her little girl’s foot accompanied by the sweet caption: “My favorite month, July.”

The new mom took to Instagram Stories to express her heartfelt thanks to her doctor, sharing a message in Portuguese that read in English: “A special thank you to my doctor who went above and beyond the professional side, welcomed me and gave me a lot of strength during these 9 months.”

She also shared a snap of her friends behind a hospital window, captioning it: “And my support system, thank you for EVERYTHING!”

Neymar became a father to his first daughter Mavie in October 2023, and just a month later, the baby’s mother, Bruna, took to Instagram to announce their split.

The model, who began her romance with Neymar in 2022, said: “It’s a private matter, but as I am confronted daily with news, assumptions and jokes, I inform you that I am not in a relationship.

“We are Mavie’s parents, and that’s the reason for our bond.”
