Here’s everything you need to know about the Middlesex County Fair:

When is the Middlesex County Fair?

Founded by Milltown Grange in 1938, the Middlesex County Fair is the successor to the Flower and Crop Show. Today, the Middlesex County Fair celebrates its 86th anniversary with rides, 4-H exhibits, arts, crafts, housewares, food vendors, entertainment, attractions, fireworks and a showcase of the county’s rich agricultural heritage.

When: From Monday August 5 to Sunday August 11

Or: Middlesex County Fairgrounds, 655 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick

Hours: From 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday to Friday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday

Cost: Online-only admission specials are: 3-day adult pass for $27, normally $30; 3-day child pass for $10, normally $12; 7-day adult pass for $50, normally $70; and 7-day child pass for $16, normally $28. Admission at the gate is $10 for adults; $4 for seniors; $4 for children ages 3-10; and children 2 and under are free. Parking is free.
