NEET 2024 LIVE: The Supreme Court of India will hear a batch of petitions seeking cancellation of the National Eligibility Test and the NEET UG undergraduate entrance test today from 10:30 am. During the hearing of the NEET case, the Supreme Court is expected to deliver a verdict on the review. A bench comprising Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra will hear all the NEET cases from 10:30 am. On July 18, the SC adjourned the NEET 2024 hearing after asking the National Testing Agency, NTA, to release the centre-wise and city-wise results of all NEET UG candidates by Saturday.

“We direct the NTA to publish the marks obtained by the students in the NEET UG-2024 examination, without disclosing the identities of the students,” the CJI said during the hearing on July 18.

Following this order, the NTA released the results on time, masking the identities of the candidates, on July 20 at noon. Earlier, during the hearing on grace marks, alleged leak of documents and re-examination, the Supreme Court had asked the NTA to produce the data of students who had changed their exam cities and had reached the top 1.08 lakh.

In the previous hearings, the Supreme Court had acknowledged that the NEET question papers had been leaked and asked the NTA to determine the extent of the leak. The Court also questioned the Centre’s stand on the alleged leak of the question papers in Hazaribagh that happened just an hour before the exam began. The Supreme Court termed the situation as far-fetched.

Meanwhile, IIT Madras has dismissed the idea of leaking NEET UG 2024 papers through a comprehensive report. IIT Madras submitted an analysis of the NEET result data on July 10. Check LIVE updates on NEET hearing in Supreme Court today.
