Strictly’s James Jordan breaks silence after wife Ola accused of ‘bullying’ as BBC show’s crisis deepens

JAMES Jordan has laughed off claims his wife Ola Jordan bullied her dance partner a decade ago on Strictly Come Dancing.

The BBC show is facing its biggest crisis yet as more celebrities share behind-the-scenes horror stories.

Ola, 41, has now been accused of bullying Steve Backshall and has been branded “cold, rude and harsh” to work with.

And it comes after her husband James was forced to hit back after a viral clip of him calling his famous partner “fat” circulated online.

TV explorer Steve, 51, is said to have lodged a complaint with the BBC in 2014.

He reportedly found Ola “rude and impatient”, which undermined his self-confidence.

Ola has yet to respond, but her husband took to Instagram and shared a sarcastic tweet from a Strictly fan today.

He jokingly suggested that James lived in fear of his wife.

The person tagged Ola and James, writing: “@The_OlaJordan is 5’4” and weighs the same as a packet of Pringles, she can reduce hardened explorers to tears.

“This is the @bbcstrictly dance floor killer and we need a fundraising page for poor @The_JamesJordan who has to live in terror on a daily basis.”

James shared a screenshot of the tweet on his Instagram Story and wrote, “Please!!! Can someone help me” alongside a distressed face emoji.

The Sun has contacted Ola representatives for comment.

If I hadn’t been with Ola, I would have slept with more women than Giovanni, says James Jordan

Steve is understood to have complained directly to a Strictly producer after their Halloween-themed Charleston.

Following this, the bosses called Ola in for a meeting and agreed that she and Steve would be accompanied at all times while they remained in the competition.

At the time, Steve spoke about the physical demands of the series.

He told the Daily Mail he was unable to point the toes on his left foot due to a fused ankle following a near-fatal climbing accident in 2008.

The action star revealed he suffered from “constant pain” while training and took painkillers every day.

He said: “It completely broke me. You’re practicing all day on hard wooden floors, with dance shoes that don’t move at all and have no cushioning.

“The impact is spreading straight through my whole body and I’m collapsing.”

On Friday, James was forced to hit back after a viral video of him calling his celebrity partner Georgina Bouzova “fat” circulated online.

The former star of the show was seen angry with Georgina as they argued during rehearsals in 2006.

But James explained that he had never had any complaints from his Strictly co-stars in eight years on the show.

The Strictly Come Dancing bullying crisis was sparked earlier this year when Amanda Abbington complained about Giovanni Pernice being fired.

Professional singer Graziano Di Prima, 30, was sacked by the BBC earlier this month after being accused of punching, spitting and kicking his former celebrity partner Zara McDermott, 27, during rehearsals.
