Aircraft participating in EAA stopover in Manitowoc

Some pilots attending EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh decided to stop in Manitowoc on their way.

Manitowoc County Airport Manager Bryan Barbeau said T-34 members once again stopped at the airport for the 18th time.th year.

According to the association, the group “invaded” the Manitowoc area as they practiced their training before flying en masse to Wittman Airport in Oshkosh.

The training took place last week, Thursday, and ended on Sunday.

The T-34 Association was also able to participate in one of the Warbird demonstrations at the event.

Barbeau also explained that there were several other planes bound for EAA this week that stopped in Manitowoc.

Last year, 677,000 people attended the annual air show.
