Christina Hall has spoken out for the first time since she and Josh Hall filed for divorce on July 7.

On Thursday, the HGTV star took to her Instagram account to clarify reports that she was “blindsided” by her estranged husband’s decision to split.

“Here I am waiting for the typical Hired PR speech about ‘how I got blindsided and am working on myself and taking time to heal at his ranch’… In the meantime, here I am, not as nice and calm as I used to be…” the first part of Hall’s Instagram story reads.

Josh, a real estate agent, listed their separation date as July 8, while Christina noted that the former couple split the day before, on July 7.

The estranged couple’s wedding date was set for October 6, 2021.

Since filing for divorce earlier this month, Christina has accused her ex-husband of transferring $35,000 of her money to his personal bank account after they filed for divorce, according to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital.

“An insecure man with a big ego can certainly try to derail you, but ‘I rise anyway.’”

In the documents, Christina stated: “On July 21, 2024, I learned that on July 8, 2024, the day after I communicated to Josh that I would be filing for dissolution, Josh contacted my professional property manager via text message and stated, ‘Hello. For the June payments, can we please have them sent to another account when the time comes? Thank you.’”

“The statement ‘can we please’ is not accurate because I had no personal contact with Josh on July 8, 2024. I would not have asked him to send me my money the day after I told him we were getting a divorce,” she continued.

“Josh was able to transfer over $35,000 of my separate rental income into his account,” Christina added. “I am requesting that Josh account for the funds taken and return them to me, as these funds are specifically used to pay the loans, bonds, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance of these rental properties.”

In the new documents, Christina said she was “shocked and concerned” by Josh’s actions the day after they filed for divorce.

“The fact that this is the same date he is now claiming as our separation date, even though it is actually July 7, 2024, makes it clear why he chose the following day,” she said. “I wonder what else I don’t know about his financial situation and that is why I am having a full forensic accounting done for the entire duration of our marriage.”

Additionally, Christina said her ex “shouldn’t need” alimony since he has his own source of income.

“I understand that at some point this court may require me to pay Josh spousal support and reasonable attorney fees to his attorney,” she said. “However, I believe this is a simple case with simple accounting over a short period of time, any potential fees and costs should be minimal.”

“Like all hard-working mothers, my life revolves around my children and my work. I understand that Josh has his own income and therefore does not need my spousal support,” she added.
