Donald Trump: Kamala Harris’ comments on Gaza war are ‘not very nice’ to Israel – video

“They haven’t been very nice to Israel,” Trump said. “I don’t know how a Jewish person could have voted for them, actually, but that’s their business.”

Right-wing Israeli politicians have attacked Harris, and unnamed officials have suggested that the remarks could make it harder to reach a ceasefire deal.

“I think to the extent that Hamas understands that there is no border between Israel and the United States, that accelerates the deal,” Mr. Netanyahu told reporters during his meeting with Mr. Trump. “And I hope these comments don’t change that.”

A Harris adviser dismissed a Times of Israel report that a senior official said Harris’ criticism would hamper a deal.

“I don’t know what they’re talking about,” a Harris aide told CNN.
