‘Self Driver’ Review – This Horror Thriller Does a Lot With Very Little

People are shocked when I tell them I don’t have a car in Los Angeles. East It’s pretty crazy, considering public transportation leaves a lot to be desired and walking is virtually nonexistent. But I live close to a good number of grocery stores and restaurants, and when I need to get somewhere my legs won’t take me, I can easily call an Uber or Lyft. I’ve relied on these rideshare apps for the past few years and have met more than my share of interesting drivers and passengers. However, based on the horror stories I’ve heard from drivers about other people they’ve picked up and the exploitation of the app itself, I know that my rideshare trauma simply doesn’t compare to that often experienced by those behind the wheel. Self-driver takes this premise to the extreme.
