What’s your favorite new music release of the week?

August is officially here and the biggest artists of the moment are keeping the heat of the last month of summer going with some great music releases.

Latto has unveiled his third studio album, Iced tea with honey and sugarwith contributions from Ciara, Coco Jones, Hunxho, Young Nudy, Teezo Touchdown, Megan Thee Stallion and Mariah the Scientist. Iced tea with honey and sugar is the continuation of that of 2022 777, which reached No. 15 on the Billboard 200 with his hit single “Big Energy.”

Meanwhile, Shawn Mendes made his return with the single “Why Why Why,” which leads off the star’s upcoming album, ShawnLast month, Mendes shared a message to fans about the project, writing, “Music can truly be medicine. Two years ago, I felt like I had no idea who I was. A year ago, I couldn’t walk into a studio without completely freaking out. So to be here now with 12 beautiful songs finished feels like a gift.”

Katy Perry also continued her 143 The band has released their new single “Lifetimes.” Perry said in a press release, “Lifetimes is a song about everlasting love. It’s about finding the deep, satisfying love of your life. A soulmate doesn’t always come in the form of a partner – it can come in many different ways, a child, a best friend, a pet. For me, it’s my daughter – I ask her every night, ‘Will you find me in every lifetime?’ She says yes, and I feel found. You’ll find each other, again and again, for lifetimes.”

In the Latin world, superstar J Balvin has unveiled his new 15-track LP RadiusThe project includes collaborations with Feid, Chencho Corleone, Bad Gyal and Carín León, among others.
