Born Again at D23 — GeekTyrant

Marvel Studios has unveiled the first images of Daredevil: Born Again during D23 and it includes Charlie CoxDaredevil and Vincent D’OnofrioThe two Kingpins face off again. We also get our first look at Frank Castle, played by Jon Bernthal, aka The Punisher, back in action!

It’s actually a pretty exciting trailer with some cool footage that gives a glimpse of the brutal action we’ve come to expect from Daredevil.

Although it has yet to be officially released online, a poor quality version of the trailer has leaked online, which you can check out below, if you wish.

Daredevil: Born Again finds Matt Murdock, “a blind lawyer with enhanced abilities, and his nemesis, Wilson Fisk, who is pursuing his own political endeavors in New York.”

During the event, Kevin Feige brought Cox, D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson And Jon Bernthal on stage to talk a little about the upcoming show before sharing footage with D23 attendees.

Head of Marvel Television, Streaming and Animated Production Brad Winderbaumhad previously teased the series, saying it would introduce a whole new “political” angle to the arch-rivalry between Daredevil and Kingpin.

Winderbaum compared the show to X-Men ’97: “Daredevil is amazing. It’s similar in some ways to X-Men ’97 “Because it revives something that fans love. But it takes it in a new direction.”

He then explained how things have changed, saying, “These characters have matured, the universe is different than it was. Things have changed, society has changed. Matt and Wilson have changed.

“And their characters are going to clash in ways we’ve never seen before. It’s not just about trying to kill each other anymore. There’s a whole political game at play.”

The new series would be inspired by the The Devil’s Reign The story focuses on the power struggle between Daredevil and Wilson Fisk, who becomes Mayor of New York.

D’Onofrio has previously spoken about the project, saying, “It brings a lot of interesting stories and all the collateral stories that happened in those original three seasons. So now we can start this Born Again situation with all that history behind us and the outcome of all that history. So we’re all talking about Daredevil: Born Again in those terms now.”

Daredevil: Born Again is currently under development by the administrators Justin Benson And Aaron Moorheadwho worked on both Moon Knight And Loki.
