“We grew up together,” Miami, 30, told co-host Saucy Santana during Thursday’s episode. “She was in L.A., I was in Miami. She was working on her project. I didn’t know. And I feel like every time we’ve tried to get together, it hasn’t worked out.”

Miami observed that she and JT were starting to drift apart to the point that they had separate dressing rooms on tour and only interacted during performances. Although they are not as close as they used to be, Yung Miami still considers JT to be a member of her “family.”

“Not everything is rosy, and not everything is black. I still consider her a member of my family.”

What happened during the Twitter conflict between JT and Yung Miami?

IIn April, JT and Yung Miami’s strained friendship became evident to fans when they had a public disagreement on X. The conflict began when Miami accused JT of “sneakily insulting” her in his music. JT quickly responded by re-sharing the post and venting his frustrations. The “Sideways” artist accused her former bandmate of feigning ignorance and suggested that Miami might be envious of her success. JT proposed a face-to-face meeting to discuss their issues in detail, and eventually, the two were able to resolve their differences.

Reflecting on their falling out, Yung Miami told Saucy Santana that much of their frustration stemmed from the fact that they were on “two different pages,” both creatively and personally. They began spending less time together in the studio, and other stars began reaching out to them individually for stories.

Yung Miami shared;

“The band doesn’t make money. We don’t work. We got to a point where we were on two different fronts. A video shoot, whatever… we couldn’t connect. So I had to find a solution because I have kids.”

The ceremonial lady also expressed frustration with how JT handled their X-rated fight.

“Once it’s on the Internet, I feel like you’re trying to get people to choose sides… If we were friends, we wouldn’t be on the Internet.”

Fans react to the Caresha please Episode

After the episode aired, netizens took to X to share their opinions on Miami’s admission. Some supported the rapper, criticizing JT for allegedly being “fake” by quietly pursuing a solo career while City Girls struggled. Others argued that Yung Miami’s lyricism was crucial to the group’s success, especially during JT’s time in prison from 2018 to 2019.

Conversely, several users blamed Miami for the group’s breakup, suggesting that her focus on her relationship with Diddy was distracting from the group’s success.

Yung Miami’s revelation comes nearly two months after JT opened up about their now-settled feud with X during an interview with Keke Palmer. Chatting with the actress on her baby,This is Keke Palmer podcast interview in June, the 31-year-old femcee Lrevealed that she was “hurt” when their personal affairs were made public via X.

“I didn’t want this to happen,” the “Okay” artist told Palmer in an interview published June 25.

“When it gets to the point of ego… We forget to express ourselves in a private setting, or we forget to speak like adults because we both had this attitude of, ‘Who the fuck do you think you are?'”

Now that their little spat is behind us, JT told Palmer that she and Miami often laugh about the “stupid” argument.

“It’s done. It’s over. Now it’s funny for both of us,” the maid said, adding, “I feel like when we talk about it…she should be able to give her side of it, or how she feels, because we were both wrong. She wasn’t the right person in that situation and I feel like that’s something we should talk about as adults.”

Now that we’ve heard from both sides…what do you think about City Girls breaking up?
